How often do you get infections needing treatment with (oral) antibiotics?

I seem to get them every 1-2 years (currently nursing a lovely case of bronchitis right now) and I'm wondering if that's normal, or if it could have something to do with being on antibiotics almost constantly from birth to age 3 (I had kidney reflux and chronic kidney infections until having surgery to correct the reflux).
