So I've rescued two kittens from the same litter. One is a calico/torti and one is bicolor ginger. I know that almost all calicos/torties are female (they have to be XXY to be male) and most gingers are male, because a ginger female has to have ginger on both x's. I'm pretty sure that the calico is a girl. They're only 5 weeks old-ish and I can't get them to a vet until Friday (so the vet can determine sex).
I'm super tired and just can't math right now. Does this guarantee that the ginger is male, because of sharing a litter with a calico girl?
